seeking a BD director/SD（licensing in）based in Shanghai

Title: Director/SD-Business Development 

Location: Shanghai 

Reporting to: CEO

Job Purpose

An experienced BD person with years of international experience and strong connections to expand company’s  portfolio of partners

1）今年已完成过亿美元融资, 计划赴港上市

2）目标为临床研发阶段的化药新药为主

3）和CEO一起工作，暂无直接下属

Responsibilities

-Lead transactions essential to executing company’s strategy and expand portfolio of partners.

-Negotiate Licensing in/out, joint venture, collaboration and other agreements and finish major transactions

-Draft term sheets, collaborative/Licensing/supply agreements

-Conduct financial/business analysis to support the transaction process.

-Acting as key ambassador for company and help management team to identify future licensing opportunities.

-Maintain relationships with current and potential future partners, which including bio-tech companies, industry KOLs and academics.

-Prepare and give presentations regarding to the key issues with respect to transactions

Qualifications

-Ph.D. degree in chemistry, pharmacy or related, or M.D.

-5+ years industry experience and strong connections/resources to develop pipelines

-Skilled at bio-tech business development networking, evaluation, partner discussions/negotiations, term sheets, agreements, etc.

-Cross-functional team leadership

-Global vision, can work with international team

-Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively understand and act on complex information under high time pressure situations.

-Strong understanding of key principles of deal structures, valuation principles of licensing and collaboration
